Why we sing
We will be the first ones to admit that we enjoy entertaining our fellow Christians. We have a grand time singing to you and with you, and telling stories, and joking around, BUT the real reason we want to spend any time with you is to share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

I John 5:11-13
And this is the record, that God has given to us ETERNAL LIFE and this life is in His Son. He that has the Son, has life; and he that has not the Son has not life. These things I have written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you know that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.
   The Good News
The term "gospel" has been badly misconstrued over the years to mean "truth". Gospel really means GOOD NEWS! God said He has some bad news for you - every human born since Adam is born under the penalty of the old sin nature. It's not anything you have done to be in this condition - you were simply born!
God has some Good News for you, too! He has provided a plan, a way for you to come back into His good graces. Once again, it's nothing you can do under your own power. It's something He did for you! God, the Father designed a plan a long, long time before man walked the earth, where He would be able to reconcile, or "buy back" all the lost souls.
Jesus Christ, the Son, was willing to carry out the plan, and go to the cross in your place. Now your part of the equation is to BELIEVE that He did that for you! Personally paid the penalty for your sin, so you could become a child of God, and live eternally with Him. Pretty good news, huh?

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life!

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.

John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.


Roman 3:28
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
